About

JUBALation is a sister quartet of troubadours from Albuquerque, New Mexico – Evelyn, Natasha, Gabrielle, and Dominique Coffing – especially known for their smooth blend of vocal harmonies. This group of young musicians has a personal message to impart to the masses, and leave their audiences invigorated by their powerful motto: to have Joy in the Journey, claim your Message of Hope, & understand what a relevant Life of Prayer is all about.

JUBALation mixes their own songs with some crowd favorites that feature an international flair combining the various sounds of Celtic, Classical, Americana, Hispanic, Choral, Indie, and many others by utilizing harp, keyboard/piano, percussion, fiddle/violin, guitar, bass guitar, pennywhistle, and harmonizing vocals. JUBALation fuses together their unique acoustic sound with youthful passion, inspiring hope and delighting their audiences again and again.

In addition to house concerts and local gigs, JUBALation also offers a brand new Concert series. By incorporating various art forms such as stories, photography, drama, and music, these young women produce a thought provoking performance portraying their message in a dynamic, relevant, and enjoyable way.

Meet The Band:

Dominique, 24

Vocals, piano, percussion, artist, historian, adrenaline junkie

There is an image in my head of the role an elder plays within a tribe. Respected, experienced, loving, disciplined, selfless. They know what is needed in the years ahead, and they prepare their loved ones for just such seasons by imparting skills and stories. Their legacy prepares, preserves, and inspires their tribe into regional leadership so that they can endure an uncertain future without becoming stagnant, fainthearted, and lifeless. This kind of influencer I aspire to be.

“No reserve, No retreat, No regret.”

This resolution, quoted from William Borden, describes what I dream to be able to say at the end of my own life. Holding nothing back, with gusto, and blameless; transparently and shamelessly living out Truth and Life. For the short time I have left on this earth, my greatest desire is to leave a legacy that builds life and strength into those around me in my sphere of influence, much like a tribal elder invests in the community they lead so that future generations are set up to succeed. For this season of life, JUBALation has the chance to “gain the right to be heard,” and to this end we invest enormous amounts of time and energy. Making the daily decision to live wholly under our God’s Lordship has opened us up to hear our specific callings to impact these generations with this life-instilling message: “…and what does Adonai require of you but to do justice, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” -Micah 6:8b

My sincere hope is that for those of you who have begun this journey as well, you will receive some much-needed encouragement and rest as you join us in each concert; and for those of you whose only experience with so called “believers” or “Christians” is hurtful and hypocritical, I earnestly pray a new spark of hope is imparted to YOU when you observe JUBALation…that you are spurred on to seek out this God we speak of, Who so gently and dramatically bridges the gap between us and Himself.

Who is this Diety that I belong to? Ask Him yourself, go one-on-one with Him and discern your own unique purpose; the reason why He placed you in this spot of History. This life here is not all there is, thank God. You too have a place in eternity, in the big picture. Find it.

Gabrielle, 21

Vocals, Harp, Guitar, Bodhran, Piano, Thespian, Princess~Warrior~Prophet~Leader

Gabrielle started music with piano when she was four, and vocals for as long as she can remember. Over the years, her pile of instruments has grown, as well as her appreciation for music. While she loves almost any genre, Celtic is her favorite style. She loves to play with family and friends, and would like to thank the best parents in the world for all their love and support. Thank you, also, to her best friends, her sisters, for allowing her to be part of the amazing work God is doing through them. And thank You, most of all, to our Abba, who gives the strength when we need it, and allowing us to make an impact on our world, in a way we love.

Natasha, 19

Vocals, Violin, Harp, Piano, Hammered Dulcimer, Disciple of the King

Playing music is one of my most favorite things to do. Whether it is with family and friends, or at church, or even by myself, I love to praise my Lord and Savior with the gift He has given me. I started on the Harp when I was 5, then moved on to the violin when I was 7. I love a wide variety of music, but my favorites are Celtic and Classical. I was blessed with several wonderful teachers who have taught me to play classically, and have been very supportive of all of the different styles I love to play. I have also been given multiple opportunities to play in several orchestras, which I have greatly enjoyed, and I have also been blessed to be able to be in several bands. The most recent being The Next Chapter and, of course, JUBALation. God has blessed me in so many different ways with the family He has put me in and all of the wonderful friends and extended family that have been sooo supportive of our musical endeavors. I pray that when you see us play, that God will be evident in our lives and that His Truth and Light will shine through us and give you hope, peace, encouragement and love. God Bless you!

Evelyn, 17

Vocals, Harp, Bass, Guitar, Piano, Thespian, Food Lover, Klutzy Daredevil

Hey y’all! My family has always been musical, but I “officially” started when I was 3. I would play around on the harp and I took violin lessons for about 4 years starting at the age of 5. When I turned 10, I got 4 harp lessons and learned the basics. I started on the piano also at age 3 or 4 (I took a couple of lessons from my 12 year old sister) and I love every instrument that I’ve played. I can (if needed) play 12 instruments (not including percussion). I’m a big fan of food, old movies, my dogs, sunlight, and snow! : ) My favorite genres of music are what I like to call the 3 C’s…Christian, Celtic, and Country. God has blessed my life so greatly and I don’t know how I could possibly thank Him enough!! I know that music will always be a part of my life no matter what God chooses for me. To God be the glory!

Jeanne Page, Gracefully Ageless

Director, Reason we are here, Everything’s her fault.

Jeanne Page began her lifelong journey into folk music at age 12, singing and accompanying herself on guitar. Since then, she has gravitated to focus primarily on the hammered dulcimer and Celtic harp and performs nationally with her band “The Next Chapter.” Jeanne is the director of two youth groups, “JUBALation” and “Jubal’s Kids” and has several best selling instructional books and songbooks available through Mel Bay Publications. She is also the one who first introduced us to the harp and was our teacher. She and her family have been instrumental in our lives as mentors, teachers, and friends. We can’t thank her and her husband, Shane, enough for everything they have done for us to make our dreams into reality.
